Coaching sessions
The coaching sessions are a specially tailored content that aims to support Practitioners/Civil Society/ Donors & Funders / Project Proposal applicants in adopting an evidence-based approach to design, implementation and evaluation of their projects, initiatives and overall work. In particular, the sessions are focusing on gender and ethical considerations in the P/CVE context, & impact, effectiveness and robustness of the project design/initiatives and dissemination strategies.

This 4 hours long in-person/online session is based on the PTN Assessment to support Practitioners/Civil Society/ Donors & Funders / Project Proposal applicants in adopting an evidence-based approach to design, implementation and evaluation of their projects, initiatives and overall work, with focus on working with vulnerable populations.
In particular, the coaching session dives into the topics of:

- Positionality;
- Trauma informed approaches in working with the vulnerable;
- Empowerment and stakeholders’ inclusion approaches;
- Cultural competency in initiative design;
- Equity and gender in initiative design, implementation and achieving/reporting the results ;
- Ethics, data security, fundamental rights safeguards, and confidentiality in PVE/CVE/De-Radicalisation initiatives.
This 4 hours long in-person/online session is based on the PTN Assessment to support Practitioners/Civil Society/ Donors & Funders / Project Proposal applicants in adopting an evidence-based approach to design, implementation and evaluation of their remembrance projects & initiatives.
Among other, the coaching session engages with the CAF evaluation model (Milosevic, 2023) designed to withstand the effectiveness test and allow for analytical approach to the impact of remembrance harvesting results based on evidence rather than on assumptions.
A mix of methods and learning strategies is employed to ensure an effective and engaging learning experience, encouraging active participation, critical thinking, and practical application of evidence-based initiatives designing, including:

- Dissemination strategies & Sustainability of harvested results
- Enhancing public speaking skills
- Coaching victims/survivors to deliver testimonies
- Including testimonials in your P/CVE communication strategies
Gender is not 50/50 programming and it is more than just focusing on women. Gender matters in P/CVE, it matters in designing, implementing and evaluating your project/initiatives.
